From 1963 until now, Unit Six is a name synonymous with fun yet professional events in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. We bring plenty of experience to the table along with sound and lighting to make your event special. We can also supply a disco to suit your requirements and help your event go smoothly. Whether it's a wedding, birthday celebration or corporate function, Unit Six can tailor the act to fit in with your needs.
Over time, Unit Six has had many changes to its lineup as musicians have come and gone. This particular combination has proved to be just as energetic and fun as previous versions of the band and translates itself to a great evening of entertainment.
The Singers
has been the lead singer of several bands from a very early age. He now fronts this band with his powerful yet soulful vocals. Vicky started her band career in Unit Six and has also been in several bands over the years before finally returning. Her strong, smooth (and exceptionally high) vocals can naturally lend themselves to many styles and she is also a great performer. Robyn is the bands newest singer and blends her vocals in beautifully with Darren and Vicky. She has an endless supply of energy and enthusiasm.
The Back Line
All of the members of our back line have a lot of previous experience in other bands, some have even been pro musicians prior to joining Unit Six. They all have the ability to drive the music all night, ensuring that your dance floor will be full and your guests will be happy. Kevin (Drums), Martin (Bass) and Ian (Guitar) have all played togerther in various bands in the past providing the funk and groove that the band needs. Doug has been a member of Unit Six since the tender age of 15 and has been the musical director and backbone of the band for many years. He is an accomplished keyboard instrumentalist and adds everything else that the other three leave out.
